How to get support

Here’s how to reach us and resolve most issues with Oku. We’re a small team, so email is the fastest path.

Before you email

  1. Share your device (iPhone / iPad model + iOS version).
  2. Screenshot or describe the screen where you’re stuck.
  3. Include the story title and chapter if relevant.

Fix sign-in issues

  • Confirm you’re on the latest App Store build.
  • Force-quit and reopen Oku; retry iCloud sign-in.
  • Check System Settings → iCloud → iCloud Drive is enabled.
  • On shared devices, ensure only one Apple ID is signed in.

Manage subscription

Billing is handled by Apple. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

We can’t change billing cycles or refund charges directly; Apple manages refunds per their policies.

Payment or refund problems

If Restore Purchases doesn’t unlock content, email us with:

  • App Store receipt (screenshot or forwarded email)
  • Your Apple ID (masked is fine, e.g., a***@icloud.com)
  • The story/chapter you tried to unlock

Data & privacy

For GDPR/CCPA requests, email privacy@oku.app from your account email and include:

  • Apple ID or in-app account email
  • Country of residence
  • Request type: data export / deletion / correction
